There are loads of activities available to children, young people and families across the borough, a large number of which are listed here. Bromley also have a large network of libraries who deliver a comprehensive range of activities and services aimed at children and young people. What's Going On?

• Bromley Youth Service Summer Activity Programme 2010

Bromley Youth Service has organised a summer programme of free activities for young people from 8 to 19 across the borough's parks. Download the leaflet here

• Young Starz Holiday Summer Course for 4-12 Year Olds 

Performing High School Musical and the Wizard of OZ. Monday 23rd August – Friday 27th August @ Greenwood Community Centre, 4 High Street, Orpington, BR6 6BQ. Contact Nikki on 0845 8388357 for further information or email info@youngstarzacademy.com  

• Magpie Dance hold the following weekly-term time session (all accompanied by live music). No previous dance experience is necessary.

Adult Community Class Sessions (£4 per person per session or £3 if paid in advance):

-Wednesday’s 1:30pm – 3:00pm: Crofton Halls, York Rise, Orpington BR6 8PR (next to Orpington train station)
-Thursday‘s 11:00am – 12:30pm: Pavilion Leisure Centre, Kentish Way, Bromley BR1 3EF

Youth Group Session (14 – 25 year olds – free of charge):

-Wednesday’s 4:30pm – 6:30pm: United Reform Church, 20 Widmore Road, Bromley BR1 1RY (next to large Boots Chemist – Bromley High Street)
-Saturday’s 10:30am – 12:30pm : Cator Park School, Lennard Road, Beckenham BR3 1QR

• Free cinema ticket for carers/buddy

The Cinema Exhibitors Association Card is a new national card scheme launched in October through over 500 cinemas in the UK. This card entitles the holder to one free ticket for a person accompanying them to the cinema.
The card holder must meet one or more of the following criteria:-

1. They are in receipt of Disability Living Allowance.
2. They are a registered blind person.
3. They are a holder of a Disabled Person's Railcard.

Application forms are available at all participating cinemas. The card costs £5 and is valid one year from the date of issue. A listing of cinemas and further information can be found at www.ceacard.co.uk/

• CrayZkidz

Every Sunday morning at the Duke Youth Centre at 11am with Sunday Kidz group for under 14s. Coffee and biscuits are always available from 10.30 and again after the meeting. For more information contact 07786 227 170.

• Bromley Youth Services

Bromley Youth Service works across the borough providing a wide range of services for all young people. You can contact the youth centres to find information on each centre. Friday and weekend activities at your local youth centres.

• Base Line Youth Group @ BCC, 2 Masons Hill, Bromley

Join other young people (Year 7 - Year 12) every Friday during term time between 6pm - 9pm for loads of different activities including 5-a-sidefootball, basketball, gaming, table tennis, live music and loads more. Entrance is £2, have a look at the Baseline site for further information.

• CampBeaumont - Easter and Summer Day Camps

Day camps for 3-16 year olds in various locations in and around the borough. Over 40 exciting, sporting, creative and adventurous activities available. Follow this link for more information: Camp Beaumont

• W.I.L.D. Ideas Youth Project @ Anerley Library

Sessions for teenagers looking for things to do, fun and education. Takes place on Fridays from 3rd April 09 between 4pm - 6pm.

• Teenage Reading Group
